Mediaspace

As a part of the project Urban Mediaspace Aarhus, the City of Aarhus will build the new Mediaspace on Aarhus harbour by the mouth of the river.

The library and citizens’ services of the future

Mediaspace will become Aarhus’ new Main Library and Citizens’ Services. In the future, this is where you will borrow books, watch films, listen to talks, collect your new passport – or simply drink coffee in the café and enjoy the view of the harbour.

At Mediaspace you will have the opportunity for experiences and activities as well as tranquility, contemplation and learning. The house will be 26,500 m2 spread over three floors.
