Wednesday 8 June 2011 we officially cut the first sod for the large structure, which during the coming four years will transform the southern bastion of the harbour from commercial harbour to vibrant urban space.

The day offered speeches, the official digging and market place with food stalls, music and ‘open excavator’.

Furthermore, the project’s friendship classes – 4.A and 4.B from Læssøesgades School - had written postcards to the future with their desires and wishes for Mediaspace.
