Timetable for the Project

The project here and now

In June 2011, the construction of  Mediaspace will commence in earnest.

Wednesday 8 June 2011 we officially cut the first sod for the large structure, which during the coming four years will transform the southern bastion of the harbour from commercial harbour to vibrant urban space.

Completion of main project

Parallel with the first phase of construction we complete the main project.

The main project includes detailed planning of  number of themes - among others:

  • Lighting and light design
  • Acoustics
  • Decoration
  • Accessibility
  • Design
  • Dynamic surfaces
  • Facades
  • Indoor climate
  • Traffic patterns in the car park
  • Planting
  • Decor and equipment for the open spaces
